IT'S MY TIME - MELANIE

Hello Guys, as I already told you I'm part of the Bloggerteam of Benetton's It's My Time campaign.
The person who stood out from the first day is Melanie Alexander from Switzerland.
I love her look, her hair, her face and her attitude!


Melanie,what is your biggest inspiration for your pictures?
It depends on the situation. It can be the photographer, the setting, my personal mood.I am a playful person and always curious, so I also like to surprise myself and the others.I like to inspire myself with music, from classic to electro; it helps me to fall into different
characters. Also I am a dancer so I naturally like to be in motion.


What do you think about the It's My Time campaign?
I think it is a wonderful idea, it allows people from all over to world to communicate and share a dream. Unfortunately a lot of people lost the spirit and started vote-for-vote-strategies. This is sad. But there are still a lot of wonderful and inspiring participators who are real and I receive the most beautiful messages every day. I am truly amazed by the honest, heartwarming comments and thank those people from the bottom of my heart!

The thing you like most about yourself is?
My character. I am a very passionate person. I love life and the people. I am not afraid to show people love. I am also a compassionate listener. And I like to tell stories and make people laugh. When I go dancing in clubs people like to join me because I bring out the funky side in them! And I like my freckles! :-)

What would you do if you would win?
It would be an opportunity to become a face for a respectful, open-minded and loving attitude.One of the candidates (rocksanda) said the following to me: “you are on of the peoples in this competition who applies in reality something I have discovered lately, meaning: it is not where you take things from but it is where you take them to!” I’d like to take this spirit to New York city! :-)
